Blast Off with Jetpack

I have learned how to manually install Jetpack and more about where plugins are stored in WordPress. I also learned about some of Jetpack's features and how they could help my website.

Jetpack was probably one of the hardest plugins for me to set up because I couldn’t just install it like the other one. I had to download it and use FTP to upload all of the files to my WordPress website. It honestly took me a minute to figure out, but once I got it working, I understood a lot more about where plugins are stored and how you can manually add things to a website as well.

Once I got Jetpack working, I also learned that it has a lot of different features that can help my website. One that I think would be helpful is Stats because I can see how many people are visiting the website and what pages they are looking at the most. Another one is Site Accelerator because I have a lot of pictures of the pottery, aliens, and things around the store, so anything that can help those images load faster would be useful. I also think Downtime Monitoring would be helpful because it can let me know if my website ever goes down instead of me having to constantly check it myself. Out of the three, I think Stats would probably be the most interesting to me because I would want to see what people are actually looking at when they visit the website.
